  • People who want the adventure of a lifetime… and come home safely

  • People who understand that life is a team sport and value a supportive environment

  • People who know that goals take hard work and commitment, and who are willing to work to make that happen…. but are busy people and have responsibilities ie you want to make sure that your commitment is in the RIGHT place.

  • People who are motivated action takers who don’t make excuses

  • People who are adventurous and willing to try new things

This program is NOT for:

  • People who just want to “conquer” goals but have no care for the environment they are going into, or the people, and culture they find there.

  • People who make excuses as to why they can’t , rather than focus on ways they can

  • People who already know it all

  • People who don’t want feedback (When feedback is given a shovel should always be a shovel)

  • People who want someone else to “motivate” them to do the what is necessary, rather than seeing the benefits of developing inner discipline.

  • People who aren’t prepared to make sacrifices to achieve something that is really important to them

The Sherpa

Please forgive me for the cultural appropriation. Traditionally the Sherpas take the load off you and that is what I do.

I make the logistics easy. Together we pick an adventure/trek that is appropriate for you, I will then organize your all aspects of your journey after that, your in-country support, accomodation, food, porters and guides. In the mean time, we work out your training plan and I help you get you so fit, and prepared you tackle it with ease!

The Sirdar

Your Sirdar traditionally is the head Sherpa, he is in charge of all the logistics and is always around to make sure that everything is running smoothly. And that is EXACTLY what I do in my Sirdar program. You have the LUXURY of the complete Joe Bonington experience. We plan an adventure suitable for you , and I look after the rest, all the logistics included. I coach you to make sure you are capable of the goal, then we set off on the journey together. Along the way, you will hear stories Nepal and Mountaineering and adventure history. And I'll be with you every step of the way, we will use the best resources available for a high adventure that doesn’t scrimp on the finest accomodation and resources our destination has to offer.

(Individuals preferred but will consider family parties up to 4 MAX)

I am only available for SIRDAR for 1 to 2 trips per year

First let’s have an initial very quick chat to find out what adventures you have planned, what issues you have, and wether we are a good fit. After that initial call, if it’s a go-er, we’ll book in a longer call and we can get some depth and explain how it all works.

If we aren’t a good match, don’t worry, I’ll direct you to someone or a service that I may think is a better fit for you.

There is no pressure or hassle. If you want in, great. If not, no problem. I’m cool either way.

I do still take on some Everest projects on a purely case-by-case basis

  • You must be a high-achieving individual, who has a burning desire to summit Everest or another 8000m peak

  • You MUST already committed to this goal to be completed in the next 1 - 2 years

  • Have a solid fitness base

  • Knows the risks you are taking and wants to nail this properly
